CLUB NEWS

Cheeseburger in Paradise has landed in Charlottesville!!!

Starting, June 1^st, 2006 our monthly happy hour will be held at the Cheeseburger in Paradise at 1101 Seminole Trail. Our monthly happy hours are held the First Thursday of each month from 5-8PM. 3^rd Wednesdays

For the summer, the club has decided to add a second happy hour on the 3^rd Wednesday of the Monthly. Starting on June 21^st the club will meet at the Lazy Parrot Grill in the Pantops Shopping Center from 5-8PM.

Phun at The Lynchburg HillCats

On April 23^rd the Club traveled to Lynchburg to watch the local Carolina League team take on the Salem Avalanche! The weather was perfect and the beer was cold! A Phun time was had by all and we even have pictures to prove it!

Adopt-a-Highway and Spring Picnic

On Saturday, May 6^th an intrepid group of club members braved the early hours of Saturday Morning and cleaned up our 3 mile stretch of Route 250 from the Old Ivy Road to Ivy Nursery. A special thanks to all that helped out.

After the cleanup, Kim & Richard Bednar welcomed us to their home for our annual Spring cook-out and picnic. The club would like to say "Thanks" to the Bednar's for hosting this event!
